Best Practices:
Air Pump Requirements: Recommended air pump capacity of 15 gph/dome to achieve optimal efficiency. Substrate Suggestions: Use a ‘fluffy’ mix consisting of 50% high-quality substrate and 50% perlite or clay pebbles. Avoid using peat-based compost to prevent reduced effectiveness.
Temperature Control: Operate with warm air only (64°F - 70°F ideal) and keep air pumps off cold floors. Timing for Activation: Activate the Air Domes 2-3 weeks after the plants are established and consider using a timer to turn off the air pumps during cooler nights.
