- KNIFE BLOCK - TEAK WOOD - The Findking magentic knife block is constructed from “Teak Wood.” Teak Wood is a highly sought after wood because of its natural beauty, and durability. Once used in ship building because of its ability to stay dry over long periods of time when exposed to water. Which is why we chose to construct our magnetic boards with teak wood. This board will not only look great, but it will look great for many years in the future.
- KNIFE BLOCK - THE MAGNET - The magnet is strong enough to take the knife from your hand just above the surface of the knife board when attaching. When removal of the knife simply grab the handle and slide up and off of the knife board. The magnet will last generations and always be a great grabbing aspect of your kitchen. (*DISCLAIMER* Do not try at home! We’ve tested it).
- KNIFE - DESIGN SYNOPSIS - The inspiration for the design of FINDKING’S newest series was the Cheetah. Our focus for FINDKING’S newest series, “The Cheetah series”, was to offer an ergonomic chef knives set that is razor sharp, and makes cooking easier. The focuses of The Cheetah Series series design was to create a knife set that displays comfort, efficiency, and endurance. That mission led us to a new innovation that has us looking at a chef knife differently.
- KNIFE - BLADE DESIGN- The Cheetah Series is constructed with 9CR18MOV Damascus steel, and has a hardness rating (HRC) of 60 /-2. This rating falls within the optimum use category of the Rockwell scale of hardness for chef knives. The 9CR18MOV Damascus steel used has been meticulously developed for durability, reliability, edge retention, and of course RAZOR sharpness. The spine of the blade has a distal taper which will allow for less weight and less resistance.
- KNIFE - THE HANDLE - We proudly introduce an innovative new handle design for The Cheetah Series featuring a “pinch grip assist” ledge (integral) that allows the user maximum grip utilization, as well as, unrivaled control of this ergonomic chef knife set. The handle is made from a dense black hardwood known as “Ebony Wood”. The handle is equipped with long ergonomic lines that will cradle many other grip styles(full grip, thumb straight, precision grip) as well.
